New River Gorge Summer Bash

Cost: Varies - the instruction on this trip is both a la cart and pay what you can. You only pay for the classes and clinics you attend and only what you can afford. Prices for instruction range from free to $100/person.

In coordination with the community at Cleveland Rocks (not officially affiliated with Cleveland Rocks Climbing), we will be spending a week in the New River Gorge. Each day will offer different classes and clinics. Instruction will include:
Learn to Lead
Anchor Building
Learn to Trad
Advanced Lead
Taping Clinic
Cleaning Clinic
Projecting Clinic
Rappelling Clinic
Classes and clinics will be offered a la cart, so only sign up for the topics you are interested in.

New River Gorge Family Trip
3 days + 4 nights: Fri 9/4/26 - Mon 9/7/26
Location: New River Gorge
Destinations: Chestnut Creek Campground, New River Gorge, Meadow River Gorge, Summersville Lake
Cost: $1000/family (2 adults + 2 youth)
*Additional $250/person for youth or adults after the first 4 participants
Deposit: $100/family
Ages: 5+ for climbing
Spend your Labor Day Weekend with the fam camping, climbing, and exploring the New River Gorge! During the 3 days of climbing, instruction will be provided for outdoor top rope climbing, rappelling, and bouldering. Evening activities will include campfires, smores, night bouldering, star gazing, and story telling.

New River Gorge Autumn Trip
3 days + 3 nights: Fri 10/9/26 - Mon 10/12/26
Location: New River Gorge
Destinations: Chestnut Creek Campground, New River Gorge, Meadow River Gorge, Summersville Lake
Cost: $500/person (Early Registration: $350/person)
Deposit: $100/person
Ages: 18+
3-day weekends are made for climbers. Cruise down to the New River Gorge Friday night and get 3 full days of climbing before returning to Cleveland. 2 days will focus on Outdoor Sport Climbing: lead climbing & belaying, climbing technique & movement, reading routes, hanging draws, cleaning, and outdoor climbing etiquette. 1 day will be spent learning how to boulder outdoors: finding & reading boulders, placing crash pads, spotting & falling, climbing technique, and bouldering etiquette.
